Mortgage Loan Originators

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator / Loan Officer that meets the qualifications listed below. 1st 2nd Mortgage Co. of NJ provides generous compensation and support designed to assist you in exceeding your financial goals.

Position Overview
As a Loan Originator/Officer, you will be compensated for originating loans while continuing to establish relationships with partners. This role involves analyzing applicants’ financial information/credit and reviewing property evaluation information to determine the feasibility of the loan.

Requirements:

  • A track record showing multiple loan closings each month
  • Existing referral partners, such as realtors, builders, financial advisors, and insurance agents
  • Complete mortgage applications to our support staff for processing in a timely fashion
  • Passionate about sales
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of current Conventional and Government guidelines
  • At least one year of loan officer experience
  • An active NMLS License as a Mortgage Loan Originator

Branch Managers

We are looking for a passionate Branch Manager to supervise all areas of operations in their dedicated branch. This includes managing staff, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to ensure the success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and hit sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise all operational aspects, including customer service, administration and sales
  • Identify current local and prospective sales opportunities
  • Create forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
  • Meet and exceed goals and metrics
  • Manage budget appropriately
  • Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges
  • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company

Requirements:

  • History of proven branch management experience or a similar role
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
  • Up to date knowledge with industry rules and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results-driven and customer-focused
